Get an unexpected chance to contribute to the European Network at Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London this year on our special day 15 January 2019. The topic was ” Looking to the future: the UK ‘s relations in Europe” , focusing on bilateral relations.
The former UK Ambassador at Bucharest , Paul Brummell , actually Director of Soft Power Department highlighted the importance of valuing of what is relevant of each EU communities living in UK, mentioning the big national celebration that happen today in Romania, Mihai Eminescu Day!
In my case as Romanian on 15 January we celebrate the Romanian Culture and Heritage National Day and our national poet Mihai Eminescu, mention that gave me the chance to offer one of my painting called “Phoenix” to Caroline Wilson , Europe Director.
The audience also received one of my books, the trilingual translations “Whispering in the wind ” being much appreciated by the 50 participants in the debate.
Grateful to get the welcome and share what matter for me with the other EU nationals representatives. Looking forward for next development in this network.
